The Schelbs

We just got back Tuesday night from "Best Camp Ever". The past two years, we've combined with another, much larger, church in the area and gone to camp with them. Last year I was unable to go, but I made sure that this year I at least went to High School camp. I ADORE CAMP! Sure, the food was gross, the bunk beds felt like coffins, the mattresses were useless, it poured down rain most of the days (at the beach!!), I have the biggest bruise ever on my leg where a kayak rammed into me (seriously, a week later and it still is huge and disgusting), and I came down with a cold the last day. But all of that pales in comparison to the fact that 4 of the girls in my cabin, including one from our student ministry, got baptized the last day. 1 of my cabin girls accepted Christ, and another began the process of restoring a relationship with her parents that had been damaged because of her lifestyle of drug addiction. Lives were transformed and heaven rejoiced with us! So ready for next year!! :)
