Topic at Random

 While browsing through Pinterest today, I came across this list of 30 questions and I thought, "I should pin that and use those for blog topics when I'm at a loss". So I won't be doing this consistently, going in order, or using every one...but here's where my inspiration for these random posts come from :)

What is your dream job, and why?

Well if I were to be truly honest I have only one dream job, but since I don't know how to go about getting that job, I'll also mention my "runner-up" dream job.


1) If I could do anything in the world and get paid for it, I'd be the person that names crayon colors. Seriously, cadet blue, mac & cheese, rose pink...I can do that! Plus how cool would it be to hear a kid say that his or her favorite color is one you named!?!?

The way this even came about was probably buried somewhere in the fact that I knew all the crayon colors in the 64 box of Crayola crayons when I was 4 or 5...and I would ask for them by name. My favorite color wasn't blue - it was cerulean. Yes, I was that kid. :) Anyway, for whatever reason crayon names mattered to me when choosing the right one for a picture, and so I think it'd be fun to be the namer of crayons.

2) Like I said, I have no clue how one goes about getting my actual dream job, so my second job is to have a bakery. It could be my very own, or a franchise like Gigi's. It could be a human food bakery or a doggie bakery. Seriously, as long as I could sell delicious treats to people who don't want to make their own tasty temptations, and it would involve using a piping bag and icing - that's my dream job! Hopefully, after Reed is here I can work on getting my in-home bakery really up and running and see huge success with it. We'll see.
