Today was a great day...we still have about 1/3 of today left, but seeing as how so much already happened, I can use past tense. None of the stuff is highly thrilling, but success and accomplishment are just that regardless of the intensity.

This morning I woke up at 7:45, helped Andy pick out his outfit (sometimes picking out clothes is just easier when someone else will do it for you), fixed him breakfast (it was just a bagel, but breakfast sounds better) while going down the list of everything he needed for today. Then once he left for the early church service around 8:20, I proceeded to empty/clean out the picnic basket and beach bag from yesterday, fold and put away 3 loads of laundry, vacuum the whole apartment, put new sheets on the bed, febreeze the duvet, fix myself a bagel, and get dressed all by 9:10am.

Then I headed to church to go to Sunday school, then church, then on to Andy's first ever camp meeting at Southside, and the first one he's led all by himself ever. He did outstanding!

Andy had a check-in table so that the parents would know what forms & payments still needed to be turned in. He had a camp promo video for parents. We had pizza (of course! it is Student Ministry after all). He covered guidelines, what to bring/not to bring, daily schedule, medications, yada yada. I was so proud, especially since he had been stressing for a while about wanting everything to go smoothly.

Again, nothing too thrilling, but a full and exciting day regardless. We'll leave for church in a little while and then tacos tonight! YUM! Tell me about your Sunday....
