Tonight I get to relax! I get to go browsing at Jo-Ann fabrics (Florida's Hobby Lobby), check out Target, maybe stop in at Pier 1 and Kohl's because I'm having withdrawals, and I think maybe a Starbucks Peppermint Mocha Frappucino is in order!!
I'm so thankful for tonight, and for a sweet husband that lets me have "me time".
However, tonight I do still have to bake 3 dozen cookies and make up some more cookie dough because:
Tomorrow is Cookie Decorating Night at my place, Wednesday we take the cookies to the fire stations as a Student Ministry and invite them to our Christmas program this weekend, Thursday is a deacon's Christmas party with a white elephant exchange (plus its a potluck - any ideas for what to fix!?!) , Friday is 2 work parties (more cookies!!), Saturday is our "Country Christmas Extravaganza" at which I am singing a solo - yikes!. Sunday after evening service is our Student Ministry Christmas party which, of course, means more cookies!
Then there's the baking for the relatives, and maybe the neighbors. I still have 10 dozen cookies to make! And Christmas Eve, thankfully I'm off work, I get to drive 5 hours roundtrip to pick up my brother-in-law's Christmas present!
Whew! So thankful that tonight I can breathe a little :)
