It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Tonight, I'm having a Premier Jewelry party that I have dubbed "Christmas in October" I've got my Christmas decor out and about (minus the tree) for tonight - we're creating our wish lists and buying Christmas presents for friends and family. It should be a blast! Adding to the Christmas spirit, we started practicing Christmas music in choir Wednesday night! YAY! I adore Christmas music! And with all of this delightfulness I'm pleased to announce....

Today also begins my annual baking season! I have the party tonight that I'm baking for. Tiramisu for an office party Monday. Chili for a department Chili Cookoff next week. Then a pumpkin carving party at the house. Next month, my parents are coming in town plus we have Thanksgiving so of course my kitchen will get alot of use then! And then...drumroll please...my favorite month of all! DECEMBER! December means the following things will baked (in numerous batches): snickerdoodles, fudge, chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, and ginger krinkles! Doesn't that just sound delightful?

So am I alone in my baking season? Do you get all excited for the holidays? I know I might be a getting a start a bit early, but when do you start getting geared up? What are your traditions - baking, decorations? Lets swap ideas!

I like to have a "wrapping party", where everyone brings wrapping paper and ribbon to share, and we wrap our gifts! Play Christmas music and have refreshments.. it's a lot of fun! =)

I love to decorate! So I look forward to when I can pull my seasonal decor out. I also like to bake. I found a cute Thanksgiving cookie idea. You bake easy peanut butter cookies. Then as you pull them out add candy corn for the beak and feathers and an M&M for the eye! Cute and Yummy!

Christmas music is a must no matter what you're doing from the day after Thanksgiving on! I find it most encouraging when making Christmas candy!

LIsten to Candice. DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING is when Christmas music starts! not a minute before! : )
