Fall weather has hit Florida and I'm oh so glad!!! I'm wearing a long sleeve shirt today, I have the door to the patio that's part of my office open, and I'm feeling this surge of energy that just inspires me to keep checking things off my list! How wonderful!
The past month and a half has been crazy. Helped a friend plan a wedding shower for a girl I'd only met once, baked goodies for said shower, am in the middle of planning a shower for a friend of whom I'm the matron of honor, baked goodies for our bake sale fundraiser, but possibly the best news is that I finally switched my meds so I'm back to my old self!

For the past year and 1/2 I've been depressed, out of sorts, irritable, lethargic, etc. At first I chalked it up to moving to Florida, then to not having friends, then to being restless in our apartment, then to being cranky about having to work full-time, then...well, by that time I had run out of excuses! So it came down to staying baby-free or changing my meds for the 6th time in 2 years and hoping that this change would work. And it HAS!
Last night I went for walk/run with a friend and running was no longer an unbearable chore that got the best of me. No! I felt like I was gliding an inch about the sidewalk...I felt unstoppable! Before a load of laundry seemed the same as climbing Mt. Everest in terms of exertion - now, I get the dishwasher emptied and reloaded, counters wiped down, a new load of laundry started, my quiet time, breakfast, and shower all in an hour! Holy Moses it feels good to be back! I'm back to the girl my sweet Andy dated and I'm so thrilled.

Funny thing is the one side-effect is that she says Holy Moses a ton! Like every 5th word! It's funny.
